When we think about a psychic reading we tend to think about a live reading. In other words we probably picture ourselves being seated face-to-face with a psychic in their home or at a fair or we might imagine speaking and consulting with a psychic in real-time over the phone. Furthermore, in today’s virtual world we might even think about having a live psychic reading via online chat.
Yet another popular medium however for psychic readings is email. Even before the internet existed many psychics offered (and some still do!) readings through regular, old-fashioned “snail” mail. The psychic would type or even write out the reading by hand and then take a stroll to the nearest post office and mail it to the client. Just so long as your psychic’s handwriting was more legible than your doctor’s then this was a nice alternative to an in-person reading.
Of course the advent of email makes this style of reading a lot easier these days but an important question still remains: Is it better to have a psychic email reading or a live psychic reading?
This is a great question and the truth is that when you are dealing with a gifted psychic it’s just not the case that one style of reading (whether it be in person or via email) will necessarily be better or more accurate than another. This is because a professional psychic is an individual who has trained and developed their natural abilities over time allowing them to do their work “on demand” and this means being able to do readings in different mediums whether it be in person, on the phone or via email. Some psychics though do prefer certain communication channels over others (more often than not for personal reasons) so always check first that an email reading is an option.
Bearing this in mind then the main differences between live psychic readings and email psychic readings is less to do with the quality of the reading (again so long as you are working with a gifted psychic) and more to do with the differences inherent in the actual communication methods themselves. So its not the case that one is better or worse since each communication medium offers its own distinct advantages.
So what then are the advantages of an email psychic reading? Well the first one is convenience! In today’s busy world we are more often than not short of time. Between holding down a nine-to-five job, raising a family, or even studying at school and preparing for exams it can be hard to find the time to schedule a live reading with someone. The option of email therefore can save us time since it just involves writing our questions in an email and then sending them to the psychic. Then when we receive the reading its possible to open it up on the screen and if the phone happens to ring or we have top pick up the kids from school it will still be there when we come back. So psychic email readings can be an attractive alternative to live readings since they can be a great time saver.
Another advantage of an email reading as opposed to a live reading is that you have a written record of the reading which you can keep. During a live reading it can be difficult to take notes at times especially if we are deeply focused or moved by the information or guidance which is coming through. At such times reaching for a pen and writing down notes might be felt to interrupt the natural flow which has been established. Without notes though it can become easy to forget things, especially the finer details as time goes by. There’s nothing worse when, at a later date, a significant event or encounter triggers some aspect of the reading and you have to struggle to recall all the details.
Its certainly true that most professional psychics will record their live readings for you but you will still have to sift through the audio afterwards if you wish to find specific snippets or pieces of information. Otherwise you will have to listen through the whole recording again. So just having the written record is a distinct advantage of having a psychic email reading since it allows you to access all the information at a glance.
The last distinct advantage of having an email reading is that it is more anonymous than a live reading. This in turn can make it a little easier to talk about specific themes and topics then it would face-to-face or over the phone with someone. This in itself can help to alleviate the occasional nervousness or anxiety we might initially have when seeking a psychic reading especially if our question is of a sensitive or intimate nature. In truth though, a good psychic will have your best interests at heart and will do their utmost to put you at ease even whilst communicating sensitive information. Because of this, anonymity is perhaps not the best reason to seek an email reading but if this is a concern for you then its certainly an option.
Now that we have looked at some of the advantages inherent in an email reading what about any disadvantages? Perhaps the main disadvantage is that should any additional questions come to mind as they quite often do then that would necessitate a second reading. During a live reading you can always stop and ask questions but the nature of an email reading does not provide for this. You are basically committed to the original questions you wrote down which is why its important to take some time at the outset to formulate them.
As you can see a psychic email reading has its own distinct advantages and is a unique alternative to other forms of live readings. Especially if you have a busy schedule and time is a concern then this could be an excellent option for you. By all means give a psychic email reading a try but I do recommend having a live reading at some point too. Trying out both styles of reading first-hand will give you a much better feel for the distinct advantages and benefits of each.
