Even though a psychic reading is a personal matter, it involves an interaction between two people, you and your psychic. There are several things you can do before a reading that will help you get a good result.
The more prep-work you do before the reading, the more focused you’ll be, and the easier it will be for the psychic to zero in on the things you’d like to receive information on. Here are a few things you can actively do to optimize your psychic readings.
Try to narrow down you inquiries to specific questions. Throwing a broad, general question at a psychic will only result in a broad, general answer. They’ll receive just too much information to be specific with their answer, and you’ll probably get nothing out of it. Neither of you will be able to make any sense of it. Be specific.
Don’t get a psychic reading when emotionally charged up. Being too emotional can have a negative effect on your reading. One little trick in toning down your emotions is to pretend you’re looking at someone elses’ life instead of your own. When you analyze someone elses’ situation you can do it with little or no emotion. Try applying this same technique to yourself, it works!
Don’t hesitate to provide a bit of feedback on the things a psychic tells you. They will not be offended by this or take it personally. In fact, doing so makes their job a lot easier. If they hit on something important to you, ask them to keep going. If it’s not important or pertinent, let’em know!
Another thing to be aware of is that a psychic isn’t a “search engine”. If it’s a bunch of detailed facts you want, you may be disappointed. That’s not how they operate. But they can definitely give you a lot of pertinent information if you ask the right questions. This will expand your number of options, but it will still be up to you to make the final decisions on a given matter.
Multiple psychic readings are not uncommon. Life is complex. Your life is complex. If you go into a reading expecting to have all your questions answered and problems solved, you’re in for a big letdown.
In your prep-work, begin by doing some self-examination. Make a list of the issues you’d like to address with a psychic. Put the list in order by priorities, from most important to least important. Then have this list in front of you when you contact your psychic. Doing this will greatly improve your chances of getting an informative, constructive reading.
As you can see, a psychic reading is an exchange between two people. The more specific you can be with your questions, the more specific the psychic can be with their answers.
